We can easily see how the coffee tradition embedded in the Ethiopia culture as strong as its faith. The different type of coffee also purely shows not only the strength of coffee itself but also the different quality of coffee we have.
The town Kefa is the place where coffee we know was found even the name derived from Keffa (Coffee) . Ethiopia is well known with its Arebika coffee where once the kingdom moved as far East to Israel and the trade merchants took this incredible magic seed far away places.This is how coffee reached the Arabian peninsula, it began a journey which would bring these beans across the globe. Then coffee houses quickly became such an important center for the exchange of information that they were often referred to as “Schools of the Wise.”

Ethiopia Coffee
Ethiopia produces some of the most unique and fascinating coffees in the world. The three main regions where Ethiopia coffee beans originate are Harrar, Gima, and Sidamo (Yirga cheffe).
Ethiopian Arabica Coffee Beans Mocha
Ethiopian Harrar coffee beans are grown on small farms in the eastern part of the country it is called Mocha. Ethiopian Harrar coffee can have a strong dry edge one can observe an intense aroma. Ethiopian Harrar coffee is often used in espresso blends to capture the fine aromatics when combined. The other region coffee Yerga chefe and Gima coffee beans are grown in the western parts of the country and are more balanced, heavier, and has a longer lasting body than the Moch.
The Ethiopian Yirga cheffe coffee bean, is the most favored coffee grown in southern Ethiopia. It is more mild aroma gives coffee drinkers to choose and use on a daily basis. The wild Gima coffee now gets also more appreciation because it is not been cultivated by fertilizer or pesticide. These wild coffee now regain the upper share as the product is brought to the market as wild coffee.
